A rare antique 18thC Derby porcelain dessert plate, approx. 7.5″/19.5cm diameter, hand-painted to both sides in a Kakiemon pattern known as “Kylin”.
Painted mock seal mark, incised “N” in script and “Wilders Collection” collector’s label to base. Dates to c1780’s.
Condition is very good after 240-odd years. There is some stacking wear, gilt rubbing to the well and utensil marks. No chips, cracks or restoration.
